Two Men, One Woman, Three times the FUN!

Image
Sorry for the cheeky title. This is not about how two men and one woman having fun. Let's be serious seriously. SGX Singapore  According to them, "SGX Singapore is the second biggest listed exchange of Asia.". Hmmmm.... "2nd biggest"? "listed exchange"? "Asia"? SGX Stock Market Update Please be serious, even if you are doing no brainer's work of copy + paste, unless you think that feeding durian to monkeys is funny. Subscribe? No thanks, I would read it from www.thestar.com.my instead. Really... It's Important...  ... To Check The MAS Investor Alert List MAS Investor Alert List (link:  http://www.mas.gov.sg/IAL.aspx?sc_q=multi ) Probably the solutions are meant for future, not now (after changing their name 3 more times).

Don't lie.

Image
While I fully understand the need to sell, the need to package the product to induce sales, the human philosophy on spending, etc, I wonder if lying is a 'must do' in order for these marketers to survive. Note: ' Lying ' is totally different from ' Telling only part of the facts '. I am not that lucky. I know. This is the x times I received such advertisements.  I am not a StarXXX customer. Will I be able receive this deal? Yes.  ==> This is NOT ' Exclusively ' for StarXXX customers. Is the mailer sent to only 10 recipients? No. ==> I am NOT  one out of 10 lucky recipients selected.  Nevertheless, such marketers continue to survive. It only tells one thing ==> It works, even if they lie.  So, who cares?! as long as it works.

Nobody Wants FREE GOLD Tickets

Image
Still 19 tickets left after 2 weeks 2 weeks ago, I saw the Facebook advertisement about 4 guys wanted to share The World's Greater Financial Strategies. Only 19 GOLD tickets left at that point of time. See it here ->   GOLD Tickets for FREE! Sadly, 2 weeks since then, and less than 8 hours before the seminar, none of the 19 GOLD tickets was grabbed, even though they are offered for FREE.  Hmmm... . Maybe their webmaster has been on sick leave, and no one knows how to update the website.  Maybe they are so generous and has been busy adding seats immediately after receiving new registration, in order to share their strategies with more people. Seats are filling up fast and seats are refilled fast enough too!  Or..  Maybe they thought people seeing the ads are all so naive.  Maybe they never bother about this. As long as there are still people continue to register for the event. Why so serious about updating the number...

GOLD Tickets for FREE!

Image
Facebook is evolving, and online advertising has never been this easy before. Now everyone can advertise!  Reading all the advertisements on Facebook can be quite entertaining nowadays. The World's Greatest Financial Strategies A few guys wanted to share The World's Greatest Financial Strategies for you to get the skill set to unlocking four … even FIVE figures a month, every month, for free. Hmmmm... "the world's greatest " and only four or maybe 5 figures... But I need 6 numbers to buy TOTO leh... Beware of “pay first” summits that take your money without providing real value.  Beware also "pay after" type that take your money without providing real value too, please. After all, if the summit guys were so good at trading or investing, why do they even need to collect summit fees? The really pro-fitable and pro-fessional investors (and traders) however, don’t need their guests to pay entrance fees...... What they really want, is...

Seminar by Singapore TOP 3 Financial Service Corp caught on CCTV

Image
A friend of mine forwarded me an seminar invitation and asking if I am interested to attend the seminar too. Following the url provided, I found the event published on Evenbrite. I then asked my friend, who is this ' very competitive financial service corp ' that ranked as one of the 'Top 3 in Singapore" and who are the other 2?? "No idea." So we asked our other good friend Google . Looking at the information provided by Google, I asked "You sure it is founded in 1998 and one of the TOP 3?" My friend said "Uhmmm... but the speaker's analysis was featured by Bloomberg , Dow Jones , The Edge and some somemore program filmed by  CCTV before!" Nevermind, we asked our good friend Google again. It seems there is no such program with the name of 'Crash Course' produced by CCTV , but there is one produced by CNA , our Channel News Asia , and our friend share something really similar, if not identical, with us. .... followed by 5 seco...

Job Ads by Singapore Airlines?

Image
I came across this post shared to the Singapore Free Classified facebook public group. While one can tell that this is not the legitimate job ad by Singapore Airlines straight after the first glance, out of curiosity, I spent a few minutes trying to find out the gimmick behind it. Salary of $9800 for a general worker does sound attractive isn't it? Furthermore, there already 41 shares within 17 hrs, and many has already provided their email id in the comments as instructed. How do they steal? So upon clicking on the image with 'Apply Now' that trying hard to act as a button, I am brought to the website of uptodatejobs.com . Unsurprisingly, it is a simple wordpress site applied with standard template that is full of Google Adsense advertisements. I am not sure why there must have several spelling or grammatical errors that you can easily spot on, and still expects visitors to subscribe to blog (wait, you mean this is a blog site?) via email though. Out of goodwill, I've ...

This credit card comparison site claims that it has served more than 20 million people worldwide, and there is a running counter that shows the number of 'Price comparisons in the past 24 hours'.
